Mr. Maki, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ concept featuring teishoku platters, has closed after just four months.

A LEYE representative would only say that the Streeterville restaurant space (676 N. St. Clair St.) would be converted into a different, as-yet unnamed, concept.

At the same time, neighboring property Ramen-San (165 E. Huron St.) has been rebranded as Ramen-San Deluxe; the ramen menu has been enhanced with some of the maki rolls that had been featured at Mr. Maki. Ramen-San Deluxe will also feature some of the set-meal teishoku platters, which are now called “maki express sets.”
