Keystone Park was host to a late summer bash as the village of River Forest hosted its sixth annual Food Truck Rally Saturday evening.
Organized by the River Forest Park District and the Rotary Club of Oak Park-River Forest, the event included 10 food trucks, a beer tent, live musical entertainment and family activities, which included a pickleball demonstration taking place on Keystone Avenue.

Those looking for a bite to eat could sample foods from a variety of trucks, including Aztec Dave’s Mexican taco creations, Billy Bricks wood-fired pizza, Bob Cha Korean fusion, sandwiches from Carnivore, cheese creations from Cheesie’s, gluten free options from Chesa Gluten Free and tamales from Tamale Spaceship.
Dessert truck offerings were provided by Ms. Tittle’s Cupcakes, My Decadent Flavor and My Funnel Truck.
Anyone looking for drinks could sample craft beer and wine in the beer tent from Kinslahger Brewing Company, Cooper’s Hawk Winery, Exit Strategy Brewing Company, Flapjack Brewery, Oak Park Brewing Company, One Lake Brewing and the Wild Onion Tied House.

Music onstage was provided by the School of Rock, Dartford Station and Sons of Chicago, while families could enjoy inflatables, games and other activities throughout the park.

All net proceeds from the event are to be donated back to local non-profit organizations who serve the needs of the community, organizers said.
