The Courier-News inaccurately reported Friday that Ellis Middle School Principal Yvette Gonzalez-Collins, in a note to school staff about the shooting of a 14-year-old Ellis student, said where one of the girl’s siblings attends school. Her note did not include that information. The Courier-News regrets the error.
