Killers in our midst: This area had two serial killers operating at almost the same period. Bruce Lindahl and Brian Dugan. Dugan had three known victims, two young females, Jeanine Nicarico and another child from Sandwich, Illinois, and a nurse from Mercy Hospital. Both men were seemingly normal until their sexual compulsion took charge.
Bears need quarterback: Let me tell you something, the Bears suck. And their quarterback sucks. You pass over two quality quarterbacks to get a sucky quarterback. Until you can get it right, you will never be as good as Green Bay. Get a good quarterback.
Big money fast: In Mexico, it was El Chapo and the cartels. In Illinois, it is Gov. Pritzker and dispensaries for medical and recreational purposes. In both cases, it’s about big money the easy way.
More conservative views: It’s very refreshing to see the paper have an article by a conservative columnist. Hopefully, it will be an unbiased year.
Save Cook building: This is regarding the David C. Cook property in Elgin. I think the city should jump through hoops to save that property. They jumped through hoops to save the Tower building in downtown Elgin, which became nice apartments. It’s another landmark building on the northeast end of Elgin, which really made the neighborhood in its day.
Demolish Cook building: I read in the paper that people want to save the David C. Cook building on North Grove Avenue. They want to make it a landmark. It would be an undue burden for the people who own this building. Why don’t the people who want to do this mind their own business or buy the building and live in it or whatever? If it’s beyond repair and they can’t sell it, they should tear it down.
Dems’ disrespect: I watched the Senate hearing yesterday as long as I could. I cannot believe how disrespectful the Democrats were against everybody. Who in the world would vote for anybody who has such disrespect for the voters and the Senate? Neither party is good, but this is electioneering at its very worst.
Spineless GOP: Do you see all these spineless Republicans from the GOP? They can’t even defend the president. All they can do is call this a crazy witch hunt. It’s insane. The only defense these spineless men have is to say the (Democrats) are trying to take back the election and they hate the president. These are the only arguments they have. They are all afraid of Donald Trump.
