A detached garage of a house in Aurora was damaged by fire last week.

At 7:44 p.m. June 22, the Aurora Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 400 block of Watson Street, department officials said in a press release.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-car detached garage with heavy fire showing, officials said. A total of 25 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries during the fire, according to the release. The total estimated loss is set at $40,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, department officials said in the press release.
