* A story on Page 1 Monday about the Wild Mile on the Chicago River incorrectly stated the year when the Chicago River was fully reversed. That occurred in 1900.
* A piece about fire safety in Chicago in the Opinion section Friday incorrectly described the time period that the Tribune and the Better Government Association looked at in their investigation into buildings with fire safety dangers. The Tribune/Better Government Association investigation looked at a six-year period, from 2014 through the end of 2019.
The Tribune regrets the errors.
