I’m sorry, but listening to all this talk about the immigrants coming over from Mexico or wherever, can’t stop at the border. We don’t have enough people there to control them. I thought of a way possibly. How about any male coming across the border illegally is taken and put into the U.S. Army, Marine Corp. or Navy and make them spend four or five years defending the country they just came into. We’d have a big Army by that time, wouldn’t we.

Jack from Homewood says some people who oppose abortion and taking a vaccine that saves lives are hypocrites. There are people who say taking the vaccine saves lives, but are all for abortion up to the moment of birth, which always takes at least one life? Those are the real hypocrites.

I’ve been reading Speak Out daily and am getting tired of all the complaining and nastiness being submitted. I’ve decided to break away from that to compliment the village for the absolutely gorgeous flowers lining Oak Park Avenue. Combined with the Benches on the Avenue, it is a beautiful ride. Thank you from a very happy resident.

Bears owners and front office are more concerned with moving the team out of Soldier Field and to Arlington Racecourse than winning football games. Fans are getting ripped off.
Mr. G., Chicago
Is it possible the Chicago Bears potential move to Arlington Heights is a contrived story to divert attention from the possibility of yet another dismal season?
Jack, Oak Forest
I wonder how much per politician is being spent for security details versus how much per taxpayer.

Under President Trump, for me to fill my gas tank in my car it took $25. My groceries per week was $120. Now under Joe Biden, to fill my gas tank it takes $50. My groceries per week $170. See where our economy is going?
