I read with interest the story on Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard where she states it was God’s plan she serve as mayor and township supervisor. Henyard, it was not God who made you mayor, it was the citizens of Dolton. You are supposed to serve them, they do not serve you. The divine right of rule went out of fashion a long time ago.

Can you imagine all the law offenders driving or walking? If they wouldn’t get an attitude or resist they would still be walking or driving and no family would be without their loving siblings. I can’t believe they just don’t get it?

Separation of church and state should be held sacrosanct. I support Marv from Bridgeview 100%. Also support those who read the Bible, as in give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. So few people ever voice anger at the phrase on America’s money, in God we trust. I would like to add to that political phrase, except for our ancestors who died defending our right to separate church and state. One candidate, a man of faith, is so proud to be so humble. Another one wants us to support his best attribute, which is being the worst nightmare of his fellow human beings that disagree with them. Very sad choice.

Ted, I have a question for you. Do you get all your misinformation from Fox News which never tells the truth just like Trump? You claim that America sold out Ukraine but the truth is America is supplying weapons and everything else they can. Trump is the one that sold out Ukraine when he held them hostage and wouldn’t release the $400 million Congress authorized. Trump wanted Zelenskyy to dig up dirt on Biden before he would give Ukraine the $400 million.

Professional athletes today are selfish and greedy. Instead of giving a percentage of their salaries to medical research to help people, they go to the bank with a smile. I’ve got my nest egg, go find yours. I’m playing a sport. Go work for your money.
