Deonta Gaiter, 35, of the 00 block of North Mayfield Avenue, Chicago, on Oct.31 was charged with assault and criminal damage to property in the 00 block of North Austin Boulevard.
Battery
Ivan Rodriguez-Abreu, 30, of the 1600 block of West Pratt Boulevard, Chicago, on Oct. 30 was charged with battery in the 1000 block of North Harlem Avenue.
Burglary
Sean Simmons, 52, of the 1400 block of Wentworth Avenue, Chicago on Oct. 31 was charged with burglary to garage in the 7000 block of Washington Street in Forest Park.
Domestic battery
James Mintz, 23, of the 5900 block of South Honore, Chicago, was charged Oct. 29 with domestic battery in the 00 block of Lake Street.
DUI
Abraham Hurtado, 22, of the 10000 block of West Medill Avenue, Melrose Park on Oct. 28 was charged with DUI in the 600 block of South Wisconsin Avenue.
Outstanding warrant
Eric Torres, 43, of the 400 block of State Street, Marengo, on Nov. 1 was arrested in the 1000 block of South Cuyler Avenue on an outstanding warrant out of Oak Park for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
Trevon Jones, 27, of the 4100 block of West Carroll Avenue, Chicago, on Oct.27 was arrested in the 100 block of Madison Street on an active warrant from the Illinois Dept. of Corrections for a parole violation.
Possession of a stolen motor vehicle
Parrish Grace, 32, of the 200 block of North Kostner Avenue, Chicago on Oct. 30 was charged with possession of a motor vehicle in the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Randolph Street.
Theft
Kenneth Williams, 30, of the 1200 block of North Mayfield Avenue, on Nov. 2 was charged with retail theft and resisting arrest in the 100 block of South Cuyler Avenue.
Paloma Esquyvel, 39, of the 4400 block of North Kimball Avenue, Chicago, on Oct. 31 was charged with retail theft in the 6300 block of North Avenue.
Retail theft and domestic battery
Clinton Brownlee, 41, of the 1100 block of South Keller Avenue, Chicago, on Oct.28 was charged with retail theft and domestic battery in the 800 block of South Maple Avenue.
Aggravated battery
A victim was reported injured above the left eye Oct. 31 when he was struck four times with orange paint balls in the 200 block of North Scoville Avenue.
Attempted motor vehicle theft
The steering column was reported damaged Oct. 31 on a 2015 Kia Soul in an attempt to steal it from the 800 block of South Ridgeland Avenue.
The steering column was reported damage Oct. 31 on a Kia Forte in an attempt to steal it from the 00 block of Augusta Boulevard. Estimated damage/loss was $1,200.
The steering column was reported peeled Oct. 27 on a 2017 Hyundai Tucson parked in the 900 block of South Highland Avenue.
Burglary
Two pairs of sunglasses were reported stolen Oct. 31 from the glove compartment of a 2009 Hyundai Azera parked in the 1000 block of Erie Street. Estimated loss was $20.
A purse was reported stolen Oct. 28 from an unlocked 2022 Hyundai parked in the 1100 block of South Taylor Avenue. Estimated loss was $645.
Criminal damage
The front driver’s side door was reported scratched Oct. 27 on a Nissan Altima parked in the 800 block of South Carpenter Avenue. Estimated loss was $150.
Robbery
A 2016 Mercedes Benz 400, a cellphone and wallet were reported stolen Oct. 28 during a robbery in the 1000 block of North Oak Park Avenue. Estimated loss was $21,625.
Theft
A 2017 Kia Soul was reported stolen Nov. 2 from the 1100 block of Pleasant Street. Estimated loss was $12,000.
A 2021 Kia Seltos was reported stolen Nov. 2 from the 300 block of South Harvey Avenue. Estimated loss was $22,000.
A 2013 Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen Nov.2 from the 600 block of Van Buren Street. Estimated loss was $5,000.
An unattended Samsung Note 20 and a charger were reported stolen Nov. 1 from a table in the 200 block of North Scoville Avenue. Estimated loss was $650.
A 2020 Kia Optima reported stolen Nov. 1 from the 800 block of South Cuyler Avenue was reported recovered Nov. 2 by Chicago police in the 5500 block of Grand Avenue.
A 2017 Kia Sportage was reported stolen Oct. 31 from the 1000 block of Erie Street. Estimated loss was $20,000.
An Acura TLX was reported stolen Oct.31 from the 800 block of Lake Street. Estimated loss was $57,000.
The catalytic converter was reported stolen Oct. 31 from a 2007 Honda Fit parked in the 1100 block of South Harvey Avenue. Estimated loss was $1,000.
A 2018 Kia Sportage was reported stolen Oct. 29 from the 300 block of South Boulevard.
An unlocked and running Lexus RX300 was reported stolen Oct. 29 from the 00 block of North Oak Park Avenue. Estimated loss was $8,000.
A package containing a check was reported stolen Oct. 29 from the front foyer of a building in the 400 block of South Oak Park Avenue.
A package containing facial cream was reported stolen Oct. 29 from the mailroom of a building in the first block of Washington Boulevard. Estimated loss was $53.
A bicycle was reported stolen Oct. 29 from the 1000 block of South Lombard Avenue. Estimated loss was $120.
A wallet was reported stolen Oct. 29 from the upper pants area of a man walking in the 7000 block of Roosevelt Road. Estimated loss was $140.
A package containing a mattress topper was reported stolen Oct. 28 from the front porch of a home in the 700 block of South East Avenue. Estimated loss was $207.
A bicycle was reported stolen Oct. 28 from the 1100 block of South Humphrey Avenue. Estimated loss was $500.
Packages containing clothing and a plant mister were reported stolen Oct. 27 from the mailroom of a building in the 600 block of South Austin Boulevard. Estimated loss was $50.98.
The catalytic converter was reported stolen Oct. 27 from a Toyota Prius parked in the 600 block of South Maple Avenue.
A 2021 Dodge Durango was reported stolen Oct. 27 from the 200 block of South Boulevard. Estimated loss was $41,000.
The catalytic converter was reported stolen Oct. 27 from a Honda Element parked in the 700 block of South Wesley Avenue.
The catalytic converter was reported stolen Oct. 26 from a 2012 Toyota Prius parked in the 100 block of North Humphrey Avenue. Estimated loss was $2,000.
