Here are some other events occurring the week of June 22-28 in the region.

Fresh fruit fest

Historic Downtown Long Grove presents Strawberry Fest, noon-11 p.m. June 23, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. June 24, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. June 25 at 145 Old McHenry Rd., Long Grove. Tickets: $5; $10 for a three-day pass. 847-634-0888; longgrove.org/festival/strawberry-fest.

This annual event features three days of choosing from a large assortment of strawberry-centric foods and drinks, carnival rides, family activities, and live music on three stages.

Munching and music

The Lot presents Taste of Highland Park, 5-10 p.m. June 23, and noon-10 p.m. June 24, followed by Bitter Jester Music Festival, noon-8 p.m. June 25 at 525 Central Ave. in Downtown Highland Park. Tickets: admission is free. 847-926-1000; enjoyhighlandpark.com/the-lot.

Food from 14 premiere restaurant vendors and top-notch musical groups will be featured on the first two days, followed by the Bitter Jester Music Festival on June 25.
