FIRST TEAM

Charlie Benesh, Metea Valley, senior, pitcher/shortstop: Batted .381 with five home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Also struck out 115 in 87 innings and recorded 3.92 ERA. All-conference and all-state third team. Committed to Salem State.

Nalia Clifford, Neuqua Valley, junior, shortstop: Batted .452 with 11 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 23 RBIs and 37 runs scored. All-conference and all-state third team.

Ava Drehs, Neuqua Valley, senior, pitcher: Went 16-6 with 1.54 ERA, team-record 278 strikeouts and 27 walks in 154 1/3 innings. Also set team’s career strikeout record with 670. Conference pitcher of the year and all-state second team. Committed to Creighton.

Maielle Ernser, Metea Valley, freshman, third baseman: Batted .456 with seven doubles, 13 RBIs, 22 runs scored and nine stolen bases. All-conference.

Aislee Morgan, Waubonsie Valley, sophomore, shortstop: Batted .540 with eight doubles, four triples, 19 RBIs, 21 runs scored and four stolen bases. All-conference and all-state third team.

Lanie Rosner, Benet, sophomore, catcher: Batted .414 with 20 doubles and 29 RBIs while striking out just twice in 123 plate appearances. Threw out 14 runners trying to steal. All-conference and all-state third team.

Sophie Rosner, Benet, sophomore, pitcher/utility: Batted .442 with 13 doubles, six home runs and 32 RBIs. Also went 8-7 with 1.47 earned-run average and 121 strikeouts in 104 2/3 innings. All-conference and all-state third team.

Sara Rossi, Naperville North, junior, outfielder: Batted .333 with 11 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 24 stolen bases. All-conference. Committed to St. Ambrose.

Jamie Saran, Naperville Central, senior, first baseman: Batted .398 with 10 doubles, six home runs, 38 RBIs and 28 runs scored. All-conference and all-state third team. Committed to Northern Illinois.

Riley Silvers, Naperville Central, senior, catcher: Batted .413 with 16 doubles, two triples, eight home runs, 41 RBIs and 42 runs scored. Conference MVP and all-state second team. Committed to Florida International.

Krista Waldusky, Neuqua Valley, senior, catcher: Batted .454 with seven doubles, one triple and 31 RBIs. Also had .983 fielding percentage. All-conference. Committed to Millikin.
