On June 18, the Supreme Court announced its decision to uphold a ban on gender-affirming health care for transgender youths in the U.S. v. Skrmetti case. Although the case originated in Tennessee, the ruling drew attention from around the country. Dozens of people in Chicago protested the decision, showing support for transgender and gender-nonconforming youths.
