The clock is ticking, but there’s still time to enter your signature cookie recipe into the Tribune’s 39th annual Holiday Cookie Contest. But don’t wait too long: Oct. 14 is the last day to enter.
Here’s how to enter:
Submit your original recipe — including a 200-word description of why it’s special and how you developed it — and a photo of the cookies below. If you don’t see the entry form below, try refreshing the page or go to chicagotribune.secondstreetapp.com/Holiday-Cookie-Contest-2025.
Bakers can submit a recipe until Oct. 14 at 11:59 p.m. Afterward, readers can vote once per day for their favorite recipe until Oct. 24 at 11:59 p.m.
Tribune journalists will bake the finalists’ recipes and guest judges — Justin Lerias of Del Sur, Reema Patel of Sarima Cafe and Asa Balanoff Naiditch of Blame Butter — will select three winning cookies. The winners will be announced Dec. 3. First place wins $250; second place, $150; third place, $50.
