A 16-year-old boy was fatally wounded Thursday night in the South Chicago neighborhood, Chicago police reported.
Shortly before 11 p.m., a boy was wounded in the 8800 block of South Marquette Avenue and was taken with a wound to the chest to Advocate Trinity Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses at the scene were uncooperative with officers, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
