First-degree murder charges have been filed against Alaa Edeen M. Qouqazeh, 27, in relation to the death of his father, Mohammad Qouqazeh, 59, of Chicago Ridge, according to the Chicago Ridge Police Department.
Mohammad Qouqazeh was killed early Monday morning in what police called an “isolated, domestic-related event.”
Mohammad Qouqazeh’s cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head, neck and chest, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Police said officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person at 4:30 a.m. Monday on the 10500 block of South Austin Avenue, and emergency responders determined Mohammad Qouqazeh to be dead at the scene.
