A 49-year-old man was left in critical condition Tuesday morning after he was wounded in a shooting outside of a business in the Brighton Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 10 a.m., the victim was standing outside a bank in the 4300 block of South Archer Avenue when he was approached by someone who pulled out a gun and fired shots in his direction, police said.

The victim suffered two wounds, one to each thigh, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
The gunman fled the scene south in a silver vehicle on Troy Street and then east on 44th Street, police said.
No one is in custody, and detectives were investigating.
