Chicago police are investigating the homicide of a 46-year-old woman found unresponsive on the floor of a residence Tuesday night in the Roseland neighborhood.

About 10 p.m. Tuesday, a witness discovered a 46-year-old woman lying unresponsive on the floor of a residence in the 10100 block of South State Street. Paramedics were called to the scene where the woman was pronounced dead, Chicago police said.

She was identified as Kimberly Cochran of the address where she was found, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding Cochran’s death. No one was in custody for the homicide.
