Chicago police are searching for a female suspect who attacked three people with a sharp object during a fight Thursday evening on the West Side in the Garfield Park neighborhood.

Shortly before 7 p.m., three people and a known suspect were involved in a disturbance in the 800 block of South Kilbourne Avenue when the suspect pulled out a sharp object.

A 16-year-old girl suffered a laceration to the face and neck, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where she was listed in critical condition, Chicago police said. A 43-year-old woman suffered cuts to the back of the head and was taken to the same hospital where she was treated and released. A 19-year-old man suffered a cut to the hand and was also treated and released at the same hospital, police said.

Their attacker fled south from the scene. No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
