Recent cold spells have put Chicago’s snowplows to work, and soon, they’ll be on the streets outfitted with new nameplates. Voting is now open for the city’s fourth annual “You Name a Snowplow” contest.

Chicago residents can vote for their favorite six names out of 25 total options by entering their ZIP code. Once winning names are selected, snowplows will be decorated with signs displaying the names. Those who submitted the lucky winning words will get the chance to take photos with their snowplow, according to the city.

Voting for the contest — hosted by the city’s Department of Streets and Sanitation — closes Feb. 14.

“Chicagoans have once again displayed their unmatched creativity and civic pride in submitting names for this year’s contest,” Department of Streets and Sanitation Commissioner Cole Stallard said in a statement. “We are grateful to the community for engaging with us, and we encourage all residents to submit votes for the top six names.”

Many of the 25 names are puns relating to snow or snowplows, and last year’s winners — like Lollaplowlooza and Bozo the Plown — followed the same theme. Other names pay homage to famous figures with Chicago ties, like Pope Leo XIV and Stephen Colbert.

Here are this year’s contenders (the first of which has already received a special nod of approval from Mayor Brandon Johnson):
