Four drive-by shootings Sunday night in Chicago within two and a half hours left one man dead and four people injured, police said.

Three of the shootings listed the offender in a black vehicle, but Chicago police have not yet confirmed whether any of the four are related.

The first shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the West Lawn neighborhood. A 45-year-old man was shot in the head while standing outside in the 3900 block of West 62nd Street, Chicago police said. The man — identified as Carlos Navarro-Perez by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office — was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The offender may have been traveling in a black vehicle, according to officers.

At around 9 p.m., a 43-year-old woman was grazed in the head by a bullet while she was driving on the 5200 block of West 63rd Place in Clearing. Police said she was taken to MacNeal Hospital for treatment and was later released. Police said the shooter may have been traveling in a vehicle.

The third shooting was in Woodlawn at around 10 p.m., police said. A 15-year-old boy was standing outside near the 6600 block of South Rhodes Avenue when he sustained one gunshot wound to the arm and abdomen. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and is listed in fair condition. Police said the offender may have been seen in a black SUV.

The fourth drive-by happened shortly after 11 p.m. in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood, police said. A 21-year-old man was shot in the elbow, and an 18-year-old man was shot in the thigh while driving in the 5600 block of West Wrightwood Avenue. Both were taken to Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in good condition, police said. The offender was traveling in a black vehicle, according to police.

Chicago police did not comment on whether the shootings are related or if any suspects are in custody and said there are no updates as of Monday morning.
