A man was found fatally wounded Tuesday night in a double shooting at an apartment building on the West Side in the Austin neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 7:45 p.m., two men, ages 32 and 33, were found shot by an unknown gunman inside an apartment in the 100 block of North Lotus Avenue.
The younger man suffered a wound to the left hand and was in good condition at Stroger Hospital. The older victim was shot multiple times to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Detectives were investigating.
