A 37-year-old man was stabbed on a CTA Red Line platform Thursday night in the River North neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before midnight, the victim was standing on a CTA platform in the 500 block of North State Street when he was approached by an unknown male who pulled out a sharp object and attacked him, police said.
The victim suffered stab wounds to the left tricep and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
