Los Angeles — A new beginning, a little heartbreak and of course plenty of action: the first trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” offers a taste of the latest superhero film from the Marvel universe.

Tom Holland, in his signature role as Peter Parker, is back fighting adversaries again years after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” – plus he also has a few personal issues to grapple with.

Parker is now an adult living alone after voluntarily erasing himself from the memories of his loved ones. He fights crime in New York as a “full-time” Spider-Man when he experiences a surprising physical change.

Meanwhile something is going on in the city and Spider-Man soon finds himself confronted with a powerful threat.

Zendaya, who is in a relationship with Holland in real life, returns as MJ. Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher are also part of the cast.

The film is due to open in cinemas at the end of July this year. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was a blockbuster that grossed billions worldwide in 2021.
