Two men and one woman were found dead in a Crete Township home early Monday morning in a case being investigated as a triple homicide, according to the Will County sheriff’s office.
The victims, who were all residents of the home, were a 32-year-old man and his parents, a 55-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies were called at about 2 a.m. Monday to a home on the 3400 block of Norway Trail for a welfare check and discovered the bodies, the sheriff’s office said.
A person of interest is in custody and charges are pending, the sheriff said, saying the case “appears to be domestic in nature.”

The person of interest is a 30-year-old woman from Indiana, and initially fled the scene before being found in Indiana, the sheriff’s office said. Norway Trail is less than a mile from the Indiana state line.
