Two male victims were stabbed on a CTA Red Line train overnight in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side, Chicago police said.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a stabbing on a CTA train in the 200 block of West 47th Street. According to police, two victims, whose ages were not immediately available, were approached by a third person. An argument ensued and that person pulled out a sharp object and attacked the male victims, police said.

One victim suffered a stab wound to the neck, and the other victim also was stabbed in the neck. Both were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where they were listed in fair condition, police said.

No one was in custody in the attack and detectives were investigating.
