5. Grayslake Central 22-7 (2): Bryce Carlson goes 4-for-4 as the Rams snap a rare four-game losing streak with a win over Lakes.
6. Highland Park 23-8 (5): In the Central Suburban League North, the Giants are the champions, Paxton Feder is the player of the year and Cooper Kasdin is the pitcher of the year.
7. Warren 19-8 (7): Jameson O’Neill and Ethan Gross combine to go 6-for-12 in the Blue Devils’ wins over Carmel and Grayslake Central.
8. Mundelein 18-9 (9): Logan Young earns two victories and also drives in seven runs as the Mustangs win four of five games.
9. Lake Zurich 16-11 (10): Alex Toth goes 12-for-16 with five doubles and nine RBIs as the Bears bat .452 and score 54 runs in four games, including three wins.
10. Vernon Hills 18-10-1 (6): Connor Brockway bats .417 with a 1.200 OPS in four games for the Cougars.
