Four teenagers were wounded early Sunday morning in a Southwest Side street shooting, according to Chicago police.
The shooting was around 3 a.m. near the 2500 block of South Washtenaw Avenue in Little Village, where patrolling officers heard gunfire. Officers discovered four victims at the scene: an 18-year-old female, two 16-year-old females and a 14-year-old male.
The injuries sustained by the victims included a gunshot wound to the right buttocks for the 18-year-old, leg wounds for both 16-year-olds and a graze wound to the right arm of the 14-year-old.
Police say the male suspect reportedly fled the area on foot prior to the arrival of police.
All four teenagers were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and are currently reported to be in good condition. The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
