Two invitations are being extended to residents to help raise funds this month for the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Centers.
The ninth annual Band Day event, with performances by seven musical groups, will be held at noon March 14 at the Batavia VFW Hall on Illinois Highway 25. Bands will include the Screaming Blue Dogs, the Last Hip White Boys and the Uncle Ilmo Band. Admission is $5.
And March 14-31, 20 percent of the lunch and dinner tabs at the Tribella Bar and Grill Restaurant, 1900 Mill St., in Batavia will be donated to Easter Seals. Restaurant patrons must mention the fundraiser to their server.
