Elmhurst native Fred Lorenzen, who won the 1965 Daytona 500 and is enshrined in the NASCAR Hall of Fame, died after battling dementia.

Turkey Trot in Elmhurst marks 41 years of helping the hungry

Up to 8,000 runners are expected in Elmhurst for the 41st running of the the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot.
