It belonged to Al Goldstein, late publisher of Screw magazine who in the 1990s installed an 11-foot-tall statue of a hand with an extended middle finger in his backyard, overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.
Goldstein reportedly bought the statue from the former ABC sitcom, "Spin City," and said it was aimed at speeding boaters.
He sold the property in 2004 and the statue was removed from the property. The location of the finger is unclear.
