Lawyers for Chicago Housing Authority used ChatGPT to cite nonexistent court case

In the latest headache for CHA, law firm Goldberg Segalla used artificial intelligence, specifically ChatGPT, in a post-trial motion and neglected to check their work, court records show.

HUD Chicago office taking on more public housing authority oversight as staff dwindles regionally, nationally

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Chicago office will now oversee 65 public housing authorities Wisconsin because of staffing shortages in the agency’s Milwaukee office.
