Sandy Bergo

Sandy Bergo, a Chicago native, is a freelance writer for the Chicago Tribune and has worked for the Chicago Reporter, WBBM-Radio and as a producer with the investigative team at WBBM-TV. She's also been a staff writer for the Center for Public Integrity and, for ten years until 2019, she was the executive director of the Fund for Investigative Journalism. She and her husband Chuck Neubauer are currently based in Washington, D.C.
