Gale B. Johnson (nee Busse), 84, of Glenview, passed away May 19, 2026. Gale was the beloved wife for 61 years of Glenn Johnson who pre-deceased her. Gale was the loving mother of Erik (Catherine) and Kurt (Julie); cherished grandmother of Megan, Kelly, Amanda, Benjamin and Noah, pre-deceased by grandson Lars; and beloved mother-in-law of former daughter-in-law Amy. Gale graduated from Maine Township High School and married her high school sweetheart in 1963. After serving as a stay-at-home mom, Gale began a career at Glenview State Bank that spanned over 20 years. Throughout her career and in retirement, Gale enjoyed traveling to many corners of the world, spending time at the family home in Wisconsin and especially spending time with her family and friends. Services will be private.
