Richard A “Richie” Stein, age 87 of Chicago; husband of Suzanne Lovell; beloved father of Barbara Stein (Jin Suk), Katie Balson (Michael Carter), William Rossiter (Joana Koiller), and Alice (George) Lewis; cherished grandfather of Evan, Lia, and Noa Suk; Ethan, Bennett, and Molly Balson; Luke and Noah Rossiter; Eleanor, George and Christopher Lewis; dear brother of Joy Lodge. Mr. Stein was predeceased by his sister Audrey Redfearn, and his son-in-law Brad Balson; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews and dear friend to many.

Mr. Stein was a real estate developer, in Chicago and around the country. He was the recipient of many awards for his business accomplishments. He was also very committed to many philanthropic and civic organizations. Services will be held Wednesday June 10, at 2:00 pm at Temple Sholom of Chicago, 3480 N Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60657.
