Phyllis Diller is looking for a beau in Chicago.
Her steady boyfriend these days happens to be a former Chicagoan, electronics wizard Earl ”Madman” Muntz. But the twice-divorced Diller quickly points out that marriage is out of the question.
”I`m having a great time with a beau in every city, except Chicago,”
she says.
Although the position of Chicago beau is open, Diller says all applicants must have the following credentials:
”I have a child who is 44, so the beau has to be at least 48 or older. Otherwise, it would look awful. He must be rich, have a sense of humor, be affectionate, and most important, he must be breathing.”
