MUCH OF the Black Hawks` recent trouble can be traced to the fact that their left-wing corps has been wiped out by injuries:
Al Secord–Injured his groin while practicing early in December, aggravated the injury Dec. 12 against St. Louis and hasn`t played since. He resumed practicing Tuesday but doesn`t know when he`ll be able to return.
Darryl Sutter–Suffered a broken left ankle Dec. 26 when checked by Rob Ramage during a game in St. Louis. Will be out for at least three more weeks.
Curt Fraser–Suffered multiple fractures of the cheekbone when struck by Islander goalie Billy Smith`s stick in Sunday`s game. Will be out for from four to six weeks.
Bob MacMillan–Suffered a separated right shoulder when checked into the boards Wednesday. He is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks.
