Milwaukee is reviving one of its greatest attractions, the Circus Parade. Scheduled for 2 p.m. July 14, the colorful parade with wagons from the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wis., will help mark the 150th anniversary of Milwaukee County.

The parade, a permanent summer fixture from 1963 to 1973, was discontinued after the death of Bob Uihlein, chairman of Schlitz Brewery, which sponsored the popular event.

In addition to the wagons from Circus World, Ringling Brothers has lent the museum several old wagons that will be restored for the parade. Chappie Fox, who used to direct Circus World Museum before going to Ringling Brothers` Florida headquarters, will help to coordinate the parade, sponsored by Wisconsin foundations, businesses and individuals.
