Mass for Mrs. Mary Conroy, 78, a teacher in Chicago public schools for 50 years until she retired in 1977, will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Terrence Catholic Church, 11744 S. Tripp Ave., Alsip. Mrs. Conroy, who last taught at McCosh school, died Sunday in Little Company of Mary Hospital, Evergreen Park. She was a resident of the Far South Side. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Horejsch; a son, William; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
