Assets of money market mutual funds fell $1.36 billion, to $211.67 billion, in the week ended Wednesday, the Investment Company Institute said. The decline followed a $962 million rise in the preceding week, the Washington-based trade group said. In the latest week, assets of institutional funds fell $1.73 billion, to $51.34 billion; assets of broker-dealer funds fell $84 million, to $95.85 billion; and assets of general-purpose funds rose $450 million, to $64.49 billion.
