Amsted Industries Inc. said it signed an agreement to purchase Merck & Co.`s Baltimore Aircoil Co. unit for $92 million. Baltimore Aircoil, a supplier of industrial equipment, was purchased to offset the cyclical nature of Amsted`s railroad-products business. The purchase will be financed by
”internally available cash and modest bank borrowing under an existing revolving credit agreement,” Amsted said.
