The Washington Bullets Wednesday signed guard/forward Don Collins for the remainder of the season, a team spokesman said.
Collins had signed a 10-day contract with Washington on March 13.
Collins originally came to the Bullets from the Atlanta Hakws midway through his rookie season of 1980-81. He played with the Bullets until last season, when he was signed by Golden State as a free agent.
He was released by the Warriors before this season. Collins averaged 7.2 points last year for Golden State and had a 10.2 career average before this season.
