I have read and reread your May 28 editorial calling for repeal of the federal minimum wage law, but I still find it hard to believe that you are serious in your simple-minded assertion that ”the minimum wage is an essential part of the unemployment problem in America.”
Mayor Washington was right in calling President Reagan`s proposed busting of the $3.35-per-hour minimum wage ”an atrocity.” We should now put that label on your ill-advised editorial, too.
