A jury of four men and two women was selected in St. Louis for the federal trial of a $60 million lawsuit in which Ralston Purina Co. claims the National Hockey League interfered improperly with the company`s attempt to sell the St. Louis Blues. The jury also will hear evidence and rule on the league`s $78 million counterclaim contending that Ralston Purina breached its contract with the league. The suit accuses the St. Louis-based firm of violating the NHL constitution by collapsing the Blues and threatening to dissolve the team unless the league took it over.
