The sidewalks of Chicago may be hazardous to life and limb.

I had the misfortune of walking in the 3400 block of Irving Park Road, on the north side of the street. I was telling myself that this had to be one of the worst sidewalks in Chicago. It had been patched so many times that there was more asphalt than concrete. I was trying to be extremely careful, but I still came a cropper.

I wish that the ”City that Works” could have some consideration for pedestrians.
