Bernard Becker, 82, a retired North Side pharmacist and drugstore owner, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. Mr. Becker, of the North Side, had been a pharmacist in Chicago for 50 years. He retired 12 years ago after operating drugstores at 4744 and 4741 N. Western Ave. and at Damen Avenue and Argyle Street. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at 1300 W. Devon Ave. Mr. Becker is survived by his wife, Hazel; two sons, Louis and Bruce; five grandchildren; and two brothers.
