Jerry Falwell, concluding a whirlwind five-day visit to South Africa, is alleging the views of the black Bishop Desmond Tutu on apartheid are

”phony,” and says he will spend a million dollars in a media blitz to support the white minority government there.

The bishop has lived with African apartheid all his life. Falwell enjoys his comfortable life very carefully limited to the United States.

As a recent Tribune editorial states, his rantings ”will undoubtedly bring in floods of donations” to his operations. Who is the ”phony”?
