Archer-Daniels-Midland Co. said it had reached an agreement in principle to acquire all the common stock of Farmers Export Co. of Overland Park, Kan. Terms weren`t disclosed. Archer said Farmers Export`s principal business was grain exporting and that its major asset was a grain handling facility in the New Orleans area.
