Bears` cornerback Mike Richardson had a 90-yard interception return against Washington Sunday, which went to the Redskins` 1-yard line. But he knows he is going to hear about the one he dropped earlier in the game.
The Bears` coaching staff has been getting on Richardson for several missed interception opportunities this year. Richardson took extra catching practice this week.
”It helped,” Richardson said. ”I wanted to spend more time trying to catch the ball. I still missed a ball. That`s the one I`ll hear about tomorrow.
”I wanted the touchdown. Hopefully, I`ll get another one before it`s over.”
