Kings update–Los Angeles is battling Toronto for the worst record in the league, so the Hawks, who have already lost twice to the Maple Leafs, should be cautious. Ex-Hawk goalie Bob Janecyk is sitting out a five-game suspension. The Kings` season has been such that Dave ”Tiger” Williams, a journeyman winger who spent time in the minors last season, has been more effective than Hall of Fame-bound Marcel Dionne. Williams had 6 goals and 13 assists through 19 games, Dionne 5 and 11.
Hawks update–Thus far, it`s been ”Never On Sunday” for the Hawks, who have yet to win a Sunday home game in four tries. It`s the last home game before another lengthy trip, this one lasting five games.
