Ameritech said it has received more than 3.1 million shares of Applied Data Research Inc.–about 43 percent–under its $32-a-share tender offer. The regional Bell company is seeking a minimum of 3.7 million shares, according to the terms of the offer, which expires at midnight, Dec. 18.
